Museums have historical and cultural value. Some cities have very famous museums and people want to see them and they want to see works of famous artists in these museums. I believe that when people are visiting museums they are able to get more information about history of country, they visit.
Nowadays we have a lot of museums in Europe. Some of them are famous historical places too. Among them are Louvre in France and Tretiakov Gallery in Moscow.
When you have ever visited some museum you can understand why visiting of museums is important. You can better understand life of people which live in the country, where this museum is situated. Moreover, you can see what famous artists of the past wanted to say to people of our age. For example, every year a lot of people want see a famous Mona Lisa of Leonardo Da Vinci. They admire this picture and that is why the administration of the museum allows visit this part of gallery only in special days of the week.
Personally, I believe that museums are the most interesting places which you can visit being in any country during your vacation. Most people think that in museums you can see only pictures or sculptures of famous artists or sculptors. But they are not right, because there a lot of unusual museums where you can see works of artisans, or unusual birds and animals.
For me, the most interesting places in country, which I visit, are so called, museums of natural science and history where I can see skeletons of ancient animals and weapons of ancient people.
To sum up, I would like to say that if you want spend your vacation with use you will probably will visit any museum in country of your visit. Museums are the most interesting historical places and that is why a lot people, who like to discover for themselves different cultures, prefer visit museums, rather than sit in bars or restaurants and drink alcohol.
